1 to 3 Red Seal Lemon & Lime Hot or Cold Brew bags
1 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
2 cups of water
1 whole piece of ginger, peeled and chopped into 2cm chunks
Step 1:Bring all ingredients to boil over medium-high heat.
Step 2:Reduce heat, slowly simmer the mixture until the syrup has reduced to about half its original volume, roughly 7-10 minutes.
Step 3:Remove ginger chunks.
Step 4:Served warm or cold with ice. The syrup can be refrigerated in an airtight container.
